Destiny Support- Winner of the Best New Social Enterprise Award 2008
Destiny Support is the brainchild of Sue Njuguna set up to provide independent living support services to a wide range of clients. Sue’s confidence of setting up Destiny Support was the experience gained after working for an organisation which was set up by a ‘woman’ and currently supports around 3500 people across London and the south east every week. Her passion in working with people is evident as she gets satisfaction in making a difference in people’s life.
Her Management background in the marketing and advertising world is an added advantage as her focus is important to managing a Customer Service led team.
Sue acknowledges that vulnerable people need the holistic support necessary and realises that ‘we all need Significance, Security and Self-worth and hope to give this back to those who have lost it’.
The organisation has a team of skilled staff in place who have all worked in organisations supporting a diverse client group.
