  • Provide basic advice and information on primary health, mental health, sexual health and alcohol/ drug dependency issues by referring them to other professionals.

  • Advice and practical support in accessing employment, training and education and meaningful occupation opportunities.

  • Information about local services such as shops, leisure centers, bus stops, train station, supermarkets to encourage and support social inclusion.

  • Support around domestic skills such as cooking, cleaning, and shopping.

  • Assist with money management, providing advice and practical assistance with claiming benefits; debt counselling and payment of household bills and other expenses.

  • Translation services where language is a barrier and support in enrolling for English classes in local colleges.

  • Provide transport from placing council to lodgings or appointments as and when the clients’ presence is required.

  • Access to 24 hour support for a diverse client group.
